Service terms
Core terms for diagnostic appointments, repair, installation and IT support.
Effective date: August 1, 2026. These are operational draft terms and require legal review before broad commercial use.
Diagnostic appointment
A diagnostic appointment is used to assess the reported problem and determine the appropriate next step. It does not guarantee completion of all repair work within the booked period.
Authorization and quotes
Additional labour, parts, specialist services or material changes to the approved scope require customer approval. Availability and completion estimates may change after diagnosis or parts inspection.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate information, lawful access, required licences and credentials through an agreed secure process. Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of important data where reasonably possible.
Data and pre-existing conditions
Repair and system work can involve risk to data or reveal unrelated and pre-existing faults. AliTechGrid Canada does not guarantee preservation or recovery of data unless a specific written service commitment says otherwise.
Parts and warranty
Any workmanship warranty, parts warranty and exclusions will be stated on the applicable quotation, invoice or service record. Supplier and manufacturer warranties may apply separately.
Pickup, travel and property
Pickup/drop-off, travel, on-site access and custody arrangements must be confirmed. Customers should remove unnecessary accessories and disclose visible damage or special handling requirements.
Payment
Payment methods, deposits, taxes and due dates are confirmed in the quotation or invoice. Unpaid devices or services may be held or collection pursued as permitted by law and the agreed terms.
